
National Endangered Species Day
NATIONAL ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY is observed in the third Friday of May every year in India in order to raise awareness about endangered species of flora and fauna in India. This year BVS has planned to observe this day through online activities among our students from classes I to X under different categories. Like every year, school takes the initiative in creating different types of awareness programme in our society and this year we planned to create awareness through online platforms
Activity Details
OBJECTIVE:

To celebrate NATIONAL ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY as a part of the co-curriculum activity for the classes 1 to 10.

To make the students aware about the different species on the verge of extinction due to different factors.

To create awareness among the students regarding the conservation of the endangered flora and fauna.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

GROUP A - Classes 1 to 4 : HAND PRINT ANIMALS

GROUP B - Classes 5 to 7 : MASK MAKING

GROUP C - Classes 8 to 10 : CHART MAKING

LEARNING OUTCOME:
The entire activity was done keeping in mind the learning outcome of the students from junior classes to senior classes. The knowledge about the endangered species was taught to the students through various activities on online mode. The students of classes 1 to 10 were able to do their activities nicely. Students learnt more scientifically about the habitat of the flora and fauna and shared their views for its conservation. It was extremely impressive to watch the photos, chart etc. and their learning outcomes.
